The news that the 2017 Ferrari 612 GTO Concept is finally going into production took the automotive world by storm. The model designed by the German auto designer Sasha Selipanov has been heavily influenced by the 2011 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and 2011 Chevrolet Camaro, especially the rear end with the bulging Camaro-styled taillights. The styling overall looks and feels much more aggressive than both models, while at the same time being perfectly in line with the general race-oriented design language of the Ferrari models. The cabin too is contemporary and upscale including high-quality materials and offering plenty of technology features and creature comforts.

2017 Ferrari 612 GTO specs
The 2017 Ferrari 612 GTO Concept cuts a sporty swooping profile with muscular yet elegant fenders and sweptback wheel arches, highlighted by deep grooves in the side panels. The front fascia also includes a distintly Ferrari trademark grille and radically designed vertical head lamps with LED inserts.
The large air intakes ensure that the Brembo brakes are constantly cooled by a flow of air. Around back, a low-slung trunk lid boasts a character crease that cuts deep into a rear bumper, which includes a diffuser plus double exhaust quads. The bulging rear fenders highlight the five spoke alloy wheels with Ferrari yellow center cap round out the exterior.

The interior offers a floating dashboard and driver-friendly layout reinforced by a brand new multi-function steering wheel with mounted controls. Right behind it, there is a clean designed three-piece gauge cluster with sharp graphics. The infotainment is brought closer to the driver, as are the HVAC controls.
Under the engine, the 2017 Ferrari 612 GTO Concept is outfitted with a race-oriented powerplant featuring a 5.7-liter V12 with direct injection and Ferrari’s Variable Boost Management which cranks out a 560 horsepower and 557 pound-feet of torque.
Following the race-oriented exterior design, the engine is positioned low and away from the front axle lowering the center of mass and improving weight distribution. Adding the Variable Boost Management helps with conserving momentum during the torque curve and improves fuel efficiency.
CO2 emission have also been greatly reduced while the engine got an additional oomph to get the model to make the zero-to-60 mph dash in 3.6 seconds.
Release Date and Price
The 2017 Ferrari 612 GTO Concept will likely arrive at dealerships sometime in the following two or three years. The pricing for this super sporty model should begin from around $199,990.
