Volkswagen might be the best pick-up truck maker in the world, and for good reason, the 2018 Volkswagen Amarok excepted to further cement the automobile company’s place as the true home of pick-up trucks.

The 2018 Volkswagen Amarok will hit the market with two engine options, namely: a 2L TDI engine, and a 4.2L V8 engine. With one engine generating 180horspower (6-speed handbook transmission), and the other 420horsepower (8-speed automated transmission), the new Amarok will possess an All-Wheel Drive system, pulling package mechanisms with a towing capacity of 200 additional pounds and improved fuel consumption.

The new Amarok will hit the market at the end of 2017 or early in 2018, and at a price revolving around the $56,000.
