2019 Audi Q4 – Facelift, Review

According to the information our team has got, Audi has recently confirmed that we can expect some new models when we talk about sports SUVs by 2020. One of them will be the new Audi Q4 that will probably appear on the market as a 2019 model.

When it comes to exterior and styling of the 2019 Audi Q4, experts say that it will be inspired by the TT Off-road concept which was presented in 2017. As we have been informed, the new Q4 will be sharing the same Volkswagen’s MQB platform with the Q3. It will also share its strongly curved roofline with this model. When it comes to lines and design of the new Q4, we can say that it seems a lot sportier and more aggressive, especially in the front fascia. It will get a large hexagonal chrome grille that will have sharper lines. The new LED headlights will be angular and the front bumper will be more aggressive. We have also noticed massive wheel arches and large alloy wheels. In the back, you can expect a lift-back tailgate design and large exhaust tips.

The interior of the 2018 Audi Q4 can be described as ultimately attractive. It will be comfortable and spacious, but it will perhaps offer a bit less space than the Q3 for its five passengers. We hope for the high-quality materials to use the cabin, such as leather, carbon fiber and aluminum. Inside, you will find a three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel that resembles the one seen inside the new TT model. There will be three large circular vents in the center of a simple and modern dashboard. You will also get the well-known Audi Virtual Cockpit and a 9.2-inch touch screen as a center console. The latest infotainment system will probably provide options such as navigation, audio system, climate control, Bluetooth and other types of connectivity, Wi-Fi hotspot and others. The Audi’s MMI Touch system will not be left out this time either.

It is perhaps too early to talk about the engine that the 2019 Audi Q4 will be hiding under its hood, but we known that more than one option will be considered. There are several possibilities. One of them is 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine. The other would come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel and there is also an option of a 1.5-liter petrol. It has also been announced that Audi is discussing the plug-in hybrid and fully electric version of the Q4. However, we have also found out that the standard version will be based on front-wheel-drive system and a six-speed manual transmission while higher trims will come with four-wheel-drive system and dual-clutch automatic transmission.

2019 Audi Q4 Release Date and Price

It is too early to talk about the release date, but we now that the new Q4 will appear as a 2019 model. The price will probably start around $38,000, but this has not been confirmed yet.
