2019 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

2019 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 has shown again on test driving in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado when we were able to see a new version of it. Or, to be honest, a protected version of the car, covered with thick protection, but even with that small distraction, we could be able to see how new model will look like. We also saw that new Camaro has undergone some changes from the last pilot model, so we are closer to the final version of it. The manufacturer has passed long trip, from the ZL1 platform to Z28, with numerous changes in chassis and design of lights. However, a major change could be under the hood, since the manufacturer has testing few new versions of the engines for Z28. All of these will be on the market during this year under the name Camaro Z28, so we should be prepared for some surprises.

Exterior

According to previous photos, 2019 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 has been changed few times, but finally made to be similar to the current model, with few differences in detail. We were not being able to see all, but original shape and size of the car are almost the same. It will have new equipment and different design of the cabin, but most likely to Cadillac ATS.

Interior

Engine

The major changes in new 2019 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 should be in terms of the speed and strength of the engine, as the current model has maybe too weak and slow engine to be competitive with greatest in the class. The new engine, however, should be V6 or V8 model (or both in few trim versions), could have 505 horsepower of strength in the new Z28 moniker that was built-in this model before 2015. Rumors said that in that case, we should expect 7.0-liter V8 engine. Do not forget the engines seen in this model before and that was a simple 275 horsepower strong and 650 horsepower engine in ZL1 model, so maybe we should be prepared for one of those two in the new model, at least in one trim version.

2019 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Release Date and Price

Believe you or not, 2019 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is almost here. It is expected that the manufacturer will show it at Detroit Auto Show soon, and then it will be on the market only a few months later. The price is still unknown, but there are no reasons to be much different from the current model, even though future buyers should be prepared for changes in price depending on engine type under the hood.
