2019 Ford Fiesta

2019 Ford Fiesta was firstly showed at Auto Show in March 2017 in Geneva and there are no much changes in that model since then. However, even then the manufacturer was not explained possible differences between US and European model, even though we expect many of them. However, the new version of the car is modernized, has prettier and more attractive details and surely one of the most interesting shapes. The main change is under the hood with the new engine.

Exterior

2019 Ford Fiesta has always been attractive and interesting small car, and that remains with this model, too. Even though the model is globally made on B-platform, there should be two versions for US and European market, with four and two doors and few changes in the design of those two versions. However, base model should have recognizable short front end with wide mesh rhomboidal grille and thin air intake on the bottom. Thin LED front lights are incorporated in the hood. The rear end is higher and rounded, making a classical shape of the small car, with modernized rear lights and thin spoiler on the top of the truck door, at least in some versions. Thanks to the sloped roof the car looks even more compact.

Interior

The cabin in 2019 Ford Fiesta is surprisingly comfortable and roomy, with a touch of elegance but with the prevailing sporty design. There are sporty but comfortable seats covered with quality fabric and designed to be attractive and modern. In terms of technology, there is blind-spot monitoring, park assistant, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and lane departure warning. For those who love to be connected to the internet, there is App Store connection and Bluetooth connection as well. The most interesting is wide dashboard with an 8.0-inch touchscreen on the top of it and numerous applications and commands there.

Engine

A 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine should replace the old one 1.6-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder under the hood of 2019 Ford Fiesta. This engine showed much more efficiency, and thanks to the combination with six-speed manual transmission and the front-wheel driving system it has 197 horsepower. Even though there is information that Ford could offer the automatic transmission together with this one, it is not confirmed yet.

2019 Ford Fiesta Release Date and Price

As we said before, 2019 Ford Fiesta will be on the market by the end of the year. The price starts at $19,000 and goes to $22,300. That price makes this car highly competitive with models like Suzuki Swift, Kia Rio, Nissan Micra, Renault Clio, and Mazda 2.
