Audi A8 has always been known as a symbol of luxury. This full-size sedan will now appear with a fresh and attractive look, keeping some of the recognizable features, but leaving some old, such as grille, behind. So, you should not expect to see the well-known Audi grille in the front part. It’s a past. The new A8 will get a shorter but wider grille. Actually, the front fascia will be where the most significant changes on this model will happen. You will notice smoother edges on the hood. Also, it will get new set of LED headlights and fog lights. Looking at the side profile, things will not change much compared to the current model, except for the mirrors which will be standing taller. In the back part of the vehicle, you will see redesigned taillights that stand perfectly in the corners and a thick chrome strip that goes parallel with LED strip that visually links them.

The interior of the 2018 Audi A8 will be much better and more modern than the one seen inside of the current model. The seats will be freshly designed and supportive with options such as heating and ventilation. You will also get a new steering wheel with a refreshed and attractive design including only two spokes – one on each side. There is also long and thin air vent with electronically controlled shutters on a flat dashboard. In the center console, this model will provide a 10.1-inch touch screen for the infotainment system. The rear seat passengers will also have their own center console with a remote and it will include options such as lighting control, separate phone calls and seat massage options. Perhaps, the biggest innovation will be the Audi’s AI traffic jam pilot which will help you in traffic jams and stop-and-go situations.

There will be more than one option when it comes to engine of the 2018 Audi A8. It will first come with a 3.0-liter V-6 which will produce 340 horsepower in gasoline and 286 horsepower in diesel version. The other would be a 4.0-liter V-8 and its 460 horsepower in gasoline version while in diesel it will deliver 435 horsepower. Finally, the new V-8 will get a 6.0-liter W-12 that could go up to 600 horsepower or more. The plug-in hybrid model that will combine a 3.0-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor with the total output of 449 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque is also being considered.
